Umm do yall think that Herbal Essences: Dangerously Straight would work on black people's hair (I'm not racist) but I only seen white people who use it, but I'm black do you think it'll work for my hair?Is Herbal Essences for black people hair too? (HELP!!!)?
the best you could do is try it.
given the texture of your hair it might not work as well as it might on a caucasian person, but it still might do a world of good.
you could always ask your hairdresser's opinion on it and if they would suggest another shampoo that is more suitableIs Herbal Essences for black people hair too? (HELP!!!)?
no
I'm not so sure...try it out.
I dont understand y it wouldnt
ya it works but it doesnt make your hair strait it is for strait hair
No, is for any hair, blond or black, the shampoo is a good shampoo.
It might it should we dont wash our hair everyday because it doesnt get as greasy my hair is black and white so i can use any shampoo it should work though try it
The best way to find out is to call the manufacture, and ask them. You don't want to be putting stuff in your hair, and not know what it will do. Good luck :)
Well, I dont think it would work. All those white people that do hair and make shampoos normaly dont think about black people's hair... o, wait, my mom just told me that she used it and it worked... so just try it! =P
well i used it, and im half white, and it didnt do shnitzel.
i think so.

What is the best way to make black peoples hair like white ppl without chemicals and straighteners?
ok well i can see you are very distraught about your hair you have like 50 million questions about it.....
1. THE ONLY WAY YOU ARE GOING TO GET YOUR HAIR EXACTLY LIKE WHITE PEOPLES IS IF YOU ARE WHITE
2. THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN GET IT STRAIGHT IS IF YOU USE A CHEMICAL.
3. you cant change genetics we are not that technologically advance to make hair a certain way yet
4. Micheal Jacksons hair only looks like white peoples because he pays people thousands of dollars to do his hair and also he puts chemicals on it
5. BE HAPPY THAT YOU HAVE HAIR SOME PEOPLE DONT HAVE ANY

Need serious help on BLACK PEOPLE hair!?
My hair gets really really dry when I wash it. Even when i use shampoos that are guaranteed to lock in moisture it doen't help. I talked to my salon person who just gave me some shampoo. ( which does not work). My mom says I should not wash until like three months, but I want to wash my hair because it gets dirty easily. Any advice? (and of course I am a black person) And i have a wave nouveau. ( which I hate and my mom wont let me change my style until it grows out more)Need serious help on BLACK PEOPLE hair!?
Pantene for Women of Color works very well.......... BUY THE WHOLE LINE OF PRODUCTSNeed serious help on BLACK PEOPLE hair!?
Dont use a commercial / branded shampoo as these tend to strip black hair of moisture. I personally use Lusters olive oil shampoo and use a leave in conditioner twice a week. Obviously straightening / perms will make your hair dry so a regular trim and high end black hair styling products are a must. The best advice is to try samples of each brand, as all black hair reacts different, till you find one you are happy with. This may take a while!!! Try searching online a websites such as blackhair.com for their rated products.
3 months to wash is waaaaaaaaaay tooo long. I wash my hair every week, but if i put certain chemicals inside it I wash it 3 weeks then once a week. Dirty Hair is not going ot help your hair growth at all.

Could someone please tell me why do black people hair break off a lot faster than white people hair.?
that has been an unsolved question for a long time, because black people keep the hair washed and oiled almost daily, but still have problems with breakage, what can be done about this,we as a black person has to keep our hair oiled, greased, and washed at least one a week, but that doesnt stopp the breakage, could it be something from the inner body such as nerves disoder.....some one please help with thisCould someone please tell me why do black people hair break off a lot faster than white people hair.?
Even though most black people do not want to hear it it is not what we don't do to our hair that makes it break it's what we do to it. All the perms dyes heavy washing combing too much grease not enough conditioning etc. I had to cut off all my hair just to get it to grow back healthy. Society has it instilled in us that straight like white people hair is good but in reality the healthiest hair is exactly how it grows out your scalp. Give me a mail and i can give you more info vypah357@yahoo.com contrary to common belief all hair is made out of the same thing white and black its all protein .Could someone please tell me why do black people hair break off a lot faster than white people hair.?
If you are experiencing this problem try the Kiehls Scalp Oil, the link is below.
In addition, not going to a professional and doing it yourslef on the regular, is not a good idea. You need to visit w/ a stylist at least every two weeks, every week would actually get your going in the right direction.
A weave or braids will also help protect your hair, but you have to maintain it too.
I'm not black but my black friends have told me that it's to do with the make-up of the hair itself - because it's so tightly curled it's quite brittle - you will also find that white people with curly hair will have more breakage than those with straight hair. If you use hair extensions or weaves or straightening solutions that will make it worse as it dries the hair and puts stress on it, so it will break more easily.
My friend just decided to go with what she had and so she's got quite short hair, but it looks beautiful and really suits her.
By the way yytiyt, you've been reported.
Its called hair processing. Every 8 wks perming hair to get it straight. If you keep it natural its more healthy. White people don't use chemicals just blowdryers and hotirons. We use chemicals and heatstyling. Half the time white people don't even use heat tools. That helps their hair stay healthier.
IT DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH HUMDITY IS IN THE AIR. IN NORTH AMERICA THE HAIR BECOMES BRITTLE.,, TOO MUCH PROCESSING TO MAKE TO HAIR LOOK BETTER ----WITH THIS PROBLEM MAKES IT WORSE---ALOT OF DECENT PRODUCTS AREN'T ALWAYS AVAILABLE HERE..EITHER
maybe becuase they don't need much of the hair, i mean they look better bald...
becoz its FAKE.

I need help growing black people hair?
i have trouble growing my hair can someone give me some tip on how to grow hair fastI need help growing black people hair?
they make an ';olive oil'; product thats supposed to stimulate your roots
and it's GNC not GM you tart ^^^I need help growing black people hair?
You can't grow your hair as fast as you want it to grow. It will only grow at its' own pace. Do you do relaxers? Stop doing it. It will cause damage to your hair. If not, and you still want your hair to be straight, I'd only relax it every 12 weeks. Every 4 weeks will kill it. And if you want it curly and healthy then every 4 months. Just keep it washed and conditioned, and don't clog it up using hair grease and conditioners that have artificial coloring in it and petroleum jelly in it. It just clogs it.
1. Buy a High Quality Hair Growth Product
I suggest you go all-natural. Unnatural hair care products are a no-no for someone who wants long-lasting, healthy hair growth. Find a hair growth product that contains powerful essential oils, natural herbs, and vitamin rich nutrients your hair needs to survive. Look for products with ingredients such as the aformentioned Aloe Vera, Citrus Fruits, Jojoba, Rosemary, and Sage. Make sure you stay away from all natural products that use natural extracts. Extracts are not as powerful as essentials oils. They are a cheap substitute for the real thing. Although there are several natural hair care products on the market, not all hair growth products are created equal. Make sure you read the fine print. Most “natural” products still contain phosphates, sodium lauryl sulfate, petroleum, mineral oil, and other lab created humectants that ultimately damage your hair. My advice---if you can’t read the ingredients, don’t buy the product. When I was searching for a natural hair growth product, I found one really great buy, Beauty 4 Ashes Super Hair Growth System. Finding this company took me awhile; but Beauty 4 Ashes pretty much gives you everything you need to make your hair grow. Foremost, I checked the ingredient listings and the products contained no artificial ingredients. The system also included hair growth vitamins, a great hair healthy eating plan, and even scalp stimulating hair growth exercise routine. At first, the system may seem a bit pricey, but, boy was I impressed with the results. In 9 months, I went from patches of hair to hair just above my shoulders. Now, I am no product junkie; but I have to tell you that this product is worth the money. It does not cost an arm and leg and it is worth every penny you pay. You can find it easily at www.discoverb4a.com. Also, check for it on Ebay. You may actually find a deal.
2. A Healthy Hair Eating Plan
Your hair is all protein. Thus, you need a protein rich diet, chocked fill of B Vitamins and other hair-strengthening nutrients. Increase your intake of fish. It is full of healthy proteins and essential fatty acids and natural oils your hair needs. In addition, drink a protein supplement or shake everyday. If you follow this plan, not only will your hair grow, but you will also lose weight. That is, of course, if you lay off the junk food. Remember, I warned you too much junk food above.
3. Drink Water
Eight to ten glasses of water is an absolute requirement. Drinking water flushes your body of toxins, chemicals, and impurities that stifle your hair growth and disrupt your hormone and enzyme imbalances. Water also transports the important nutrients your body needs throughout your body. Hate drinking water? Add lemon and Splenda to have a healthy, tasty alternative
Your hair wil grow moderately fast if you stay away from heat, damaging chemicals, drink plenty of water and keep protein and moisture(in combination and balance) in your hair regimen, you should see gratifying results.

Black people hair care, and its some serious perm damage! HELP!?
Ok so my friend has had pretty thick black hair all her life, she got a perm about a year ago. and it broke her hair sooo bad. its pretty ruined, i mean its still about shoulder length, but its bad, its really thin in some areas of her head (no, not bald, just thin) and she was too embarrased to ask on here, so i did it for her.
Do you know any hair grow products (For black people, cuz she tried alot of other stuff from commercials and stuff but it duznt work) so please please, any suggestions? Its almost graduation PLEASE she has to look cute for graduation.
p.s she already tried Dr. Miricles (i dunno how it spelled) and its not working... so please help!!!
THANKS!!!!!Black people hair care, and its some serious perm damage! HELP!?
First off her ends need to be trimmed. The hair will not grow or style properly with the damaged ends. Secondly, she will need a deep conditioning treatment (Infusium 23, Creme of Nature, or Pantene Pro-V). I would recommend that she go into a salon, she needs a hair care professional, from your description this isn't a do-it-yourself job.
Another option would be going natural, after the trim she should try braids at least until her hair is healthy again.Black people hair care, and its some serious perm damage! HELP!?
ok pressing will only further damage her hair and dry it out....

she really needs to go to a salon, so they can help her get back on track..I am talking about a real salon, a good salon wouldn't put heat in her head after such bad damage.. She might need a good hot oil treatment, and a good deep conditioning
