Does anyone know if the Instyler (Hair Straightener) really works? What about on Black people hair?

They have Kimberly Locke from American Idol on the informercial. But she is not full black, so her hair isn't as stubborn as mine.Does anyone know if the Instyler (Hair Straightener) really works? What about on Black people hair?
I am not full black but it worked on me. I am 25% African and 25% Dominican and it worked really well on me.Does anyone know if the Instyler (Hair Straightener) really works? What about on Black people hair?
i have it it works pretty good although if you burn yourself even for just a second it usually leaves a scar and it hurts like crazy! i know they have a ';warning hot'; thing on it but most hair straighteners don't really do any damage to you if you only touch it by accident for a second but anyways i'm white it works pretty good for me although my hair isn't that hard just to straighten with a normal flat iron so i can go either way but it is usually easier to straighten it with the instyler and i'm not sure about if it works on black people's hair it says it does in the infomercial but i don't know personally
