Usually. But Ethnic and Caucasion hair are a bit different, So it's always best to go to a Hairstylist, who knows HOW to take care of, and how to do ethnic hair.





And just to add, after reading one of the girls comment about hairstylists having to know how to do every type of hair..Not true. Many hairstylists specialize in certain types of hair, or didn't take any continuing classes on hair. Some don't know how to take care of Ethnic hair, or even long and curly hair. Vice versa, too. they do both but if you have really curly afro Caribbean hair you are best phoning about good hairdressers and ask if they have anybody that specializes in afro hair my friend has afro hair and it is very curly and at an ordinary hairdresser may not have the skills to do as good a job as a specialist in afro hair she pays a bit more but gets a really good cut she has had it done at a local high street hairdressers in the past and it was all uneven she goes to a chain hairdressers called cheynes look it up and see if you have one local to you
