I'm african american and i bought so much dye stuff to dye my hair. but it doesn't work! is there a way to dye my hair with homemade stuff? How to dye black peoples hair blonde by using homemade stuff?
if you are african american i wouldn't dye it blonde. :-DHow to dye black peoples hair blonde by using homemade stuff?
Silly! That's because you didn't bleach it first! Any race - no matter which one - that has dark hair - to acheive an extremely light color has to bleach!! When you bleach, it strips your natural hair color and leaves the base color for all hair colors. Orange. And then you proceed to dyeing over the orange with the new lighter color!!

Liz M is wrong btw. You CAN dye your hair using in-store products. It's just that you have to bleach your hair first or else THEN they won't work.

And to actually argument that, my sister is black and has naturally black hair. She bought a super red highlighting hair dye at walmart and I helped her with it and it dyed her hair the exact color on the box!! Like Corri said, you just have to buy according to what type of hair it's made for. She was very accurate when she said there are types of dyes made specifically for african-americans.
i am wondering if you REALLY mean stuff like around the house. peroxide will change your hair but i think it will damage your hair. the best result it to get it professionally done. my sister kept trying to dye her hair blonde and it eventually fell out and i mean out. as in she had to start over. U might not want to pay but get it professionally done. or go to a BLACK hairstore and buy something called kaleidscope.. i think thats how its spelled but its a powder that you mix with a developer but the clerk can explain everything and it is so easy. mix the two things together, put on hair and watch it turn and wash it out....
I wouldnt use anything from under the kitchen sink to color your hair. what kind of stuff did you get? If you got it at walmart or something like a box kit it's not going to work. I would go to a beauty supply store and buy your color there. You might need a developer with a high volume. Like 30 or 40 Vol. developer. Box colors only have 20 Vol. and that's not strong enough for really thick/course hair. Good Luck and what ever you do dont pour Clorox on your head...
You see 1stly u shudnt have dyed ur hair.....it wud not be much fashionabl with ur skin tone.

Nextly, u shud hav bleached ur hair at first and applied dye or color to it.

3rdly, as like a home remedy u can try applying henna mixed with yoghurt and cofee powder, it will give u a reddish tint to ur locks.

best of luck.
No! There are products made for African American hair, if used properly they do work. Sally's has a line for your hair type %26amp; you can use any dyes they carry. Also there are specialty stores that carry your hair type of product.
Nope. I wouldn't try it. You'll end up with a mess. If you want something different, do it right and go to a professional.
hmm i dunno if that works cause it might turn out like ornage or somethingg weird get a hairdreeser to do it professionally
why......blonde....seriously though??

and all that stuff is just messing up your hair.
just get a weave in any color.

im white/asian %26amp; use fake hair.
