How do you straighten all natural, kinky, hate to say it but nappy, black people hair?

it needs to look like a perm. PLEASE!!!! my we need answers! How do you straighten all natural, kinky, hate to say it but nappy, black people hair?
';hot comb'; they sell them at beauty supply stores in black neighborhoods and they come electric now but the none electric one that you warm on the gas burning stove top works better, make sure you get ';pressing oil or grease'; as well, make sure it says ';pressing'; on it regular hair grease doesn't work as well. before all that make sure that you wash with moisturing shampoo and condition it thoroughly and some spray leave-in detangler wouldn't hurt. divide the hair into 4 sections and spary the detangler and blow dry a little and while it's slightly moist apply the pressing oil or grease, you must take a comb with a pointy end and part it to apply the pressing oil to make sure it gets to all the hair. finish drying while keeping it in the 4 sections, you can twist or braid it quickly or used bands of clips to keep it sectioned off get your straightening comb hot and go through each 4th, part it with the comb like you did earlier so you can access the roots, it will be hot the person's scalp and you may burn them but keep them calm and still or it will just get worse. make sure you comb through with a regular comb to check for straightness and keep a towel to wipe the lost hairs out of the comb with other wise it will burn, smoke and smell horrible. I think that's it, message me if you have any more questionsHow do you straighten all natural, kinky, hate to say it but nappy, black people hair?
Hi,

Since you say it needs to look like a perm, then I'm guessing that you don't want to get it permed. Try blow drying or using a flat iron (old school would be to use a hot comb). Also, you can also spend some money and have it professionally done. Go to a salon, if you live in a big city then you might be able to find a salon that specializes in natural hair. I've heard from many natural women that they don't like salons because the beautician will not give them the style they want or the beautician will do something to their hair that they didn't ask for.

I suggest having it professionally done if this is your first time straightening natural black hair, this is so 1) you don't cause damage through trial and error, 2) you can see how a professional does it so you can learn that way, and 3) you can ask questions about maintenance, products, and how-to's, which is very important.

Good luck.
get a relaxer my hair is the same but thick and nappy and long ( use motiionrizer brand works the best) and use a pressing comb thats what i use and the you can flat iron it with some serum oil and it will saty sraight for a long time if you do it every week once it will stay straight and if you keep your hair mostionrizes enough when you wash it it will be easyer to do it you can wash your hair up to 3 times when you got you relaxer on and it will be easyer to do
Get the new straightener that sttems as you do it. its cheap and sold in walmart and stuff and i saw an info mertial and they did it on a black girl and it turned out great. also it doesnt dry out your hair it accually moisterizes it. i dont know on how to make it look like a perm unless u mean like an opposite perm like cchemically straightened. well i hope i helped

You go borrow your moms ironing board and an iron then you call Don Imus over for lunch and a free perming... LOL (I'm just kidding btw) And there's always the old steamroller technique..... But there have been a few misses.... Not too fun and the asphalt can make it worse... Hmmmm.. I don't know, maybe go to a salon that might work.
My we need answers?

Anyways, use hair relaxers. CAREFUL using these; the do serious damage. Condition your hair EXCESSIVELY.

Get a perm.

Get a thermal reconditioning.
dont use a relaxer unless you have someone who knows what they are doing. i would suggest a hot comb but that kind of hair doesnt hold that well in the heat.
My friend cheree just spent a couple of hours blow drying then going over it with a straightener. I would say maybe going to a salon or a beauty supply store and having it relaxed.
wash your hair and keep combing it down dont stop! Or you can blow dry it as straight as you can then when it's dry use a straightener on the highest heat and straighten awayy~~ xD hopes I helped xD
brush out ur hair put in a leave in conditioner then brush so more lol the just move rlly slow with the straightener rlly slow if u want it to b lk rlly flat and smooth blow dry it then use a flat iron
wash ur hair, put a relaxer in in, and us a hot comb, use a heat protector on it so it wont damage it
Either have it chemically straightened, or get a perm.

Okay You need to use pressing cream and an awesome flat iron. The ones that get really hot and moisturize are great. Good Luck!
Get a perm.
